MERCEDES-BENZ C CLASS DIESEL SALOON 2007-2011

Great car that should be superb, £40K+ cost However so many problems have occurred in the 5 years I've owned the car. Power steering pump failure, door lock regulator failure, glow plug regulator failure, door handle breakage, currently I've got an injector problem and a comand problem. I've had 3 previous new Mercedes' but I'm keen to explore another marque next year.

Extremely reliable and well thought out. Great double panoramic roof. Auto box rather lazy and slow to respond to requests but does the job. Regularly returns 48+ mpg

My Best Car

MERCEDES-BENZ C CLASS DIESEL SALOON 2007-2011

I've had this car 6 years and it's so good I'm not ready to part with it yet. The car not only has good looks, it's quick 0 to 60 in 7.1 seconds, handles well and a great drive, It will do 52 mpg on a long drive. A full tank of fuel will take you circa 700 miles. Emissions 167 g/km and Vehicle Tax of £210. The more recent versions emissions are down to 131 g/km and average 56 mpg. My previous car, a turbo 2.5 litre petrol (not a Mercedes) had similar power and comfort but had emissions of 238 g/km and would not better 30 mpg even on a long run. I remain impressed with my Mercedes-Benz C Class Sport.

MERCEDES-BENZ C CLASS DIESEL SALOON 2007-2011

Really nice to drive, very comfortable, internal comforts include heated seats, with lumbar adjustment, sat nav, 6 disc cd/dvd player radio, 4 gig hard drive, the command system for the sat nav and radio / cd/ dvd player is very easy to use. Electric windows, anti dazzle rear view / drivers door mirror, on board computer with controls on the steering wheel. And some nice little surprises like the trip computer and cruise control with speed limiter easily operated from the steering column. And I like the rain sensor screen wipers, and auto lights on facility. Also I find the built in Blue tooth very useful for making and receiving hands free phone calls. It looks good and it's practical, I just drive around with a big smile on my face. The road holding is superb with the traction control system and anti lock brakes. With plenty of storage space for all your little bit's and pieces and a spacious boot It ticks all the boxes, and very very economical. The only down side is the headlights are not as good as they should be on a car of this quality. There really is no need to look any further for your next car..Since owning this car I have had no faults at all, I find it's very reliable..

Practical Family Saloon

MERCEDES-BENZ C CLASS DIESEL SALOON 2007-2011

If you're looking for the W204 model then this car is a good all rounder for both the family and the sole individual looking for something a little sporty. The Diesel engine has plenty of torque and holds its own comfortably when driving long distances, and economical too. Purchasing the AMG Sport Option is the preferred choice if buying this car. My only negative was that I should've bought the car with the SatNav command unit and not the standard Audio-20. Other than that you won't be disappointed.

MERCEDES-BENZ C CLASS DIESEL SALOON 2007-2011

An excellent motorway cruiser. Seat could do with more hold when cornering. Brakes are good but the steering does not unwind its self when coming out of tight corners and can tramline. The steering lock module is prone to fail which is a fault on this model and on sprinter vans. Other wise no problems. Driven sensibly on long runs will achieve up to 44 mpg but around town can be 30 mpg

MERCEDES-BENZ C CLASS DIESEL SALOON 2007-2011

A great car. Plenty of power. Very comfortable and smooth to drive. I did have a lot of reliability issues in the first twelve months. Car has been great for the last eighteen months now. Great build quality. Amazing economy.

MERCEDES-BENZ C CLASS DIESEL SALOON 2007-2011

That the build quality, standard of MB service and my dealer satisfaction really is second to none, and still worthy of its reputation. I will be purchasing my next car fro Mercedes, a first that I have ever gone back to the same manufacturer for my next car !! As a result of my experience my sister bought a new AMG A Class after her very poor experience with Audi
