SUBARU WRX STI SALOON 2014-onwards

This is such a great car, the grip and performance are outstanding and it's so much quicker in the real world on our bumpy twisty roads than the figures suggest. In the wet it will leave rwd sports cars with twice the power for dead! Build quality and reliability are first class. Only the feel of the plastics inside and road noise at motorway speeds give away the cars 'budget' price for such a high performance car. Running costs are not that bad - tax is high but I get 34mpg cruising and average 25 driving mainly in town and accelerating hard when I get the chance. Very practical with 5 large seats and huge boot too. Ride is hard in town but it's worth it for the almost perfect handling and grip combination. Boxer engine sounds amazing and it has plenty of gadgets for a sub 30K car including LED lights, keyless entry and start, clutch hill hold, leather and alcantara sports seats and adjustable differential with 3 throttle response settings. Standard stereo was rubbish as are speakers so I installed a Pioneer Apple Car Play unit which is brilliant and upgraded the speakers. I love this car and it feels safe and built to last plus it will worry most Porsches, BMW M models and fast Mercs/Audis for half the money!

2015 WRX STI

SUBARU WRX STI SALOON 2014-onwards

Very good power and Boxer rumble, but at the top end. Ride quality (its a sports car) not too harsh, newly laid road it glides along, loads of grip in to and out of corners. fuel economy not bad i average 25mpg. Road tax expensive. Insurance very reasonable. Subaru dealers in Croydon very helpful. Bell & Colvill West Horsley could not be bothered with me i left them 2 messages and no reply.

Nice car. Very fast & handles very well. Clutch is stupidly heavy & so not so good for town driving..

Excellent all round car for the performance driver

SUBARU WRX STI SALOON 2014-onwards

Purchased the car to cover all bases from trips down to B&Q and a day at the track. Latest model is a massive improvement from the previous generations and the cabin is now a reasonable place to be. I drive the car daily on a 30 mile commute which is a mixture of B roads, A roads and motorway, 18 months on I'm still enjoying everyday. One improvement which I have made is to replace the stereo head unit for a Pioneer sat nav, iPod etc which makes sitting in traffic much easier 🙂 fuel costs aren't the best but is very dependant on how you drive it.... Don't buy an STi if you watch you MPG. Excellent car and would certainly replace it with another.

Forget what the magazine reviews say about these models yes other manufacturers have caught up powerwise but test drove a couple of rivals when I was looking to replace my hawk eye and ended up going back to a scooby once again none of the others I looked at had that ability to put a great big grin on my face like the turbocharged flat four can

Subaru 2017 wrx sti

SUBARU WRX STI SALOON 2014-onwards

The car is overpriced The car handles sloppy Ride comfort is lacking but the seats are decent enough for those bumpy roads A lot of cabin noise on the 17 model Touchscreen Is mediocre Fuel economy is shocking Interior cabin is poor quality at best Cheap tacky handbrake gaitor with blue piping The whole interior is red not bloody blue They have given rows of stitches in the middle of seat base Mine started to de thread after 300 miles Cheap crap I then stupidly sold it and bought the 2018 wrx sti final edition And it is final Nail in coffin Ends it all !!!
