JAGUAR X-TYPE ESTATE 2004-2007

I love my Jag, previously I had an Alfa 166 which again was 3ltr and fast. The Jag is smoother and better balanced with great acceleration. The interior is beautifully crafted with superb leather. Plenty of room for various items that I have to carry in the back and with the seats down the load area is great. As a 3ltr it is not on the economical side but the sheer luxury and pleasure of driving it outweighs that for me. The auto box is 6 speed smooth and with all wheel drive it handles bad weather conditions with ease. I would certainly own another.

Lady love

JAGUAR X-TYPE ESTATE 2004-2007

Yes she is a 2.5 and yes she likes a drink, but her voice makes me weak at the knees and the AWD is a bonus. Smooth and powerful. Things will go wrong as per all cars, so why worry. Just open, sit, start and drive. Love begins😍🤗

X Type sports estate AWD 2.5 V6 petrol.

JAGUAR X-TYPE ESTATE 2004-2007

Although this vehicle is 07 it has done less than 36,000 miles and until I purchased from a Jag specialist it had only one owner, a lady. As a result everything about this car is good, these cars, generally, possess loads of extras, heated front screens, heated seats, fog lights front and rear eletric seat adjustment, cruise control, the list seems endless and the more the better although a cynic would claim the more electronic aids the more to go wrong. To date absolutely nothing has gone wrong. The 2.5 petrol V6 is greedy, particularly when mated to the automatic gearbox, you will do well to average more than 27 to the gallon generally although I have managed to see 40mpg on the read out by dint of very light footed application of the throttle. I find the auto a trifle sluggish by modern standards as far as acceleration is concerned although the top speed is another matter. The road holding is excellant as you would expect. I find the seat gets quite uncomfortable if you drive for very long periods, 5 or 6 hours which I wasn;t expecting. My car is an estate and it is asonishing what can be fitted into the rear when you fold the rear seats forward. I have the jaguar approved dog mesh fitted and what a task that is, installing or removing, quite difficult! All in all I absolutely love the X typeand I am sure that most drivers would say the same!
