Not only familly car

FORD FOCUS SALOON 2001-2004

My model was 1.6 petrol. I bought it with 92k as second owner and had it for 8 years and clock had 187k when I sold it. Very reliable, great on petrol (6.4L-6.7L/100km on motorway with 3 persons and full boot) comfortable with enough space for 4 person familly. It did not start only once throug 8 years (battery died, it was going to happen as I noticed problems with it around 2 weeks earlier). It started to take engine oil around 145k - not much up to 3.5L in my last year. Heated front screen - great feature. I had no previous experience in cars but managed to replace many parts on my own so the build was easy. I had few common problems: 1. Speed sensor fault x1 not every garage wanted to undertake the job or they were asking high price, ended up with 15-20min and £25 bill for replacement 🙂 2. Rear suspension x1 - cost me in total £480 3.Front suspension x1 easy to fix on my own 4. Flexi exhaust pipe x2 cheap aftermarket parts In my last year of owning it water started to get in the boot and could not locate were it was from. Happy overall
