VOLVO S60 DIESEL SALOON 2004-2008
Owned this car a few years ago and found it to be reliable and well built. Had very few problems with it and generally very pleased with it. Would i have another one? Yes i definitely would in a heartbeat.

VOLVO S60 DIESEL SALOON 2004-2008
Volvo is known for it's safety and this model is no exemption of this rule. It's very well build, nicely finished inside and good looking outside. I start from the engine which is in my opinion one of the best diesels on the market, very very durable, good on fuel with manual gearbox and 5 cylinders make super sound. Never had any issues with DPF filter even when I commute less than 2 miles to work every day. On 136k miles I replaced swirl flaps which is pricey feature but worth to do - car is more refined and response and power is back. If you're looking for sporty ride, go and get german rivals. S60's suspention is set more on comfort but it's not wobbly on sharp bends. Cabin is spaceful in the front, but passengers can moan on legroom space on the backseats. Leather seats are very comfortable and even after long journey I dind't feel any back pain. Heated and fully adjustable front seats is fantastic addition. Stereo system with 12 speakers is really good, sound is full and rich. 3.5mm jack input can compensate lack of usb input for music lovers. Boot - competitors have larger ones but can't complain on lack of room. Volvo's legendary turning circle is one of these things you will have to live with. If you're not the best in parking a car in tiny spaces then after few months spent with this model will make you parking expert. Gearbox - facelifted 185bhp model comes with 6 gears, for me first geat is too short. Overally and personally I love this car even with it's small defects and if I change my car I will stick to Volvo.
