Cayman is the finest handling car that Porsche produce

PORSCHE CAYMAN COUPE 2005-2009

The worst kept secret at Porsche is the Cayman is the finest handling car that they produce. Very practical for a sports car if you only need 2 seats. Must be well maintained, regular servicing is a must but will be very reliable, i have covered 122,000 miles to date, with just an air conditioning condenser and water pump failure and replacement of the usual wear items. The Cayman S whilst not having quite as much engine speed as a 911 in a straight line, it will out handle a 911 in the curves. It is a real drivers car that inspires confidence, very easy to drive fast, safe and smoothly with very accurate steering. The Cayman is the perfect sports car, very difficult to find fault and a car you can use daily. My last Porsche was a 997 Carrera but i prefer my current Cayman S .......superb!

Cracking car

PORSCHE CAYMAN COUPE 2005-2009

Purchased with 26k and have since put 45k on it. It was purchased as a Sunday car, the driving experience meant it became a daily driver. I've used it for a trips to France, superb GT and practical and comfortable enough for a long weekend away for 2 and it returned over 30mpg. Could it do with more power, yes an increase from 295 to 400+ would make it sensational rather than great, but then I still love driving it. The down side is the RFL cost at £540. Depreciation has been extraordinarily low. It's been overall a pretty cheap car to run, independent servicing is affordable, same cost as my Audi Diesel. Parts are dearer though, but other than brakes and tyres the only thing that's needed replacing were the suspension drop links due to pot holes. The only quality issue that I can speak of is the painted plastic trim, hard to get colour matched.
